The flight dynamic model has been developed due to performance issues with existing models. Most models matched the FCOM values quite well in a certain flight regime but in other flight regimes they differed tremendously so that a flight according to FCOM values was not possible.
The model has been created from scratch where the focus was on the performance. The handling is strongly depending on the flight control software so that the handling has been modelled in a way that the aircraft can be controlled easily by a flight control software. The model is not intended to be controlled by hand (without a flight control software).
In most flight regimes the flight model matches the FCOM values between 95 and 100%. Just the climb rate is a little bit too high in the lower atmosphere whereas in the upper atmosphere it is a little bit too low. This will be fixed in a future update but the entire time of the climb matches almost exactly the FCOM values. Also this version does not include a variable center of gravity.
Please note that this model is primarily intended for professional use. You will receive the air file and parts of the aircraft.cfg on CD. These parts have to be merged with an existing model, they cannot work on their own. Also parts of it might have to be adapted (contact points) before the model is able to fly. Due to the legal situation we cannot give you any instructions of how to merge, so you already should have some knowledge of how to edit flight models. Furthermore we cannot offer any support for a faulty integration. We can only offer support for performance questions regarding the delivered files.
The model has been developed and tested with Prepar3D v2.4. The correct behavior has also been checked with v2.5, v3.0 and v3.1. Other versions have not been tested, so a proper function can only be guaranteed with the listed versions.
