Plug and Play for JeeHell FMGS, ProSimA320, FlightFactor A320 and ToLiss A320.

This is a revision of our first voltmeter interface. The required voltage was reduced from 48 to 36 volts and the connection was also changed from a DC connector (5.5 x 2.1 mm) to a terminal. In addition, the resolution has been improved from 8 bits (256 steps) to 12 bits (4096 steps). Calibration is now carried out in the software and no longer by means of a trimmer on the circuit board.

Control board for bipolar 20 mA stepper motors (dashboard stepper), particularly suitable for analog pointer instruments.

Specially developed for bipolar 20 mA dashboard steppers, these can be connected directly to this board without an output driver. Each board has 16 connections for stepper motors. The two windings of the motor are connected to pins 1/2 and 3/4 of the box header. Pins 5-7 are available for any IR light barrier, whereby pin 5 carries +5 V, pin 6 expects a TTL signal from the light barrier and pin 7 is connected to ground. Many dashboard steppers do not have to be initialized via a light barrier but can be driven against the end stop. For details, please refer to the data sheet of the stepper motor.

The board is connected via USB and requires an additional 5 V power supply (screw terminals) for the stepper motors.

The stepper motors can be configured individually using the Cockpit Connect software. You can generally choose between initialization by means of a light barrier (endless rotation) and initialization by moving against the end stop.

The position data is only accepted from SIOC via the IOCP protocol, a direct connection to the flight simulator is not possible. This type of control enables maximum flexibility in programming. An IOCP variable can be specified for each motor. The data received via the IOCP protocol is sent to the respective stepper motor via a lookup table. The lookup table enables individual configuration of each stepper motor with unevenly divided scales. The lookup table is created conveniently using the mouse or keyboard by changing the value until the pointer is in the desired position. This eliminates the annoying conversion of the scale in SIOC.

In addition, a time constant can be set for each motor, which can be used to imitate a sluggish behavior of the instrument.

It is possible to connect several boards per PC; firmwares with different numbers are available for this purpose. Simply let us know your requirements when you place your order.
