https:\/\/www.pololu.com\/product\/2133<\/a><\/p>\nEach board has 12 connections for stepper motors (4 pins). In addition, 3 connections are available for each motor, e.g. for a light barrier (5V, GND, TTL signal). If the motor and design permit, the motors can also be driven against the end stop for initialization. For details, please refer to the data sheet of the stepper motor.<\/p>\n
The board is connected via LAN and requires a 5 V supply for the electronics, as well as its own motor supply (depending on the motors and drivers). The maximum allowable amperage for the motor supply is 6.5 A.<\/p>\n
The stepper motors can be configured individually using the Cockpit Connect software. You can generally choose between initialization by means of a light barrier (endless rotation) and initialization by moving against the end stop.<\/p>\n
The position data is currently accepted by FSUIPC and SIOC via the IOCP protocol. The data received is sent to the respective stepper motor via a lookup table. The lookup table enables individual configuration of each stepper motor with unevenly divided scales. The lookup table is created conveniently using the mouse or keyboard by changing the value until the pointer is in the desired position. This means that there is no annoying conversion of the scale.<\/p>\n
In addition, a time constant can be set for each motor, which can be used to imitate a sluggish behavior of the instrument. The motors are divided into 3 groups, each group contains 4 connections. The speed of the motors can be set separately for each group.<\/p>\n
It is possible to connect several boards per PC.<\/p>\n
